Summer Workshop Performance
Join us for a one-night showing of an original, Studio Ghibli–inspired performance created by our Summer Workshop ensemble (ages 8–13). Across four days, the group has been world-building, designing characters and creatures (including puppets!), and shaping scenes into a live performance experience. Expect big imagination, beautiful visuals, and brave storytelling — made collaboratively, with lots of heart.
After the performance, stay on for a relaxed celebration with the ensemble — a fun, festive atmosphere with music, a bar serving drinks, and plenty of time to mingle and celebrate what the young people have made.
WHEN: 6-7.30pm, Friday 23rd of January
WHERE: Next Wave (The Brunswick Mechanics Institute), 270 Sydney Road, Bulleke-bek (Brunswick)
COST: Free
TICKETS: Please register here :)
Created by the UNDERARTS Summer Workshop Ensemble, facilitated by theatre-makers Ahmarnya Price and Allison Wiltshire, with puppet making support from artist Liang Luscombe.
