Workshops and classes where young people can create, discover and connect through performance and theatre making.

Our programmes and activities

Weekly theatre-making classes for young people in Brunswick, Naarm/Melbourne. Groups run by age: Kids (8–12) and Teens (13–18).
Supported and facilitated by professional artists, participants collaborate to devise original performance works that reflect their experiences, ideas, and imaginations.
This term, the ensembles will create a brand-new work to be performed in June 2025 at Brunswick Ballroom.
Registrations for our Term 3 weekly workshops will open in June.

We will run school holiday workshops during the Winter and Spring school holidays in 2026.

UNDERARTS creates public events that celebrate the original works devised by our ensembles throughout the year. These performances bring together young artists, families, and the wider community to share in the creativity, courage, and imagination of our participants.
Our next show will take place at Bfunswick Ballroom on the 20th of June, 2026.
Friends, family, community - and the curious - are all welcome.
